Person Doesn't Exist - Needs Deleted
Hello,
I looked into S. Berdie Young
1873 – Deceased
• G4KS-SST
It said she was married to my ancestor. Looked at the source https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939Z-5MX4-P?i=28&cc=1709399 and found in the original document it lists Mary M Young as wife not S. Berdie Young. It is a misprint and Berdie Young was created. There are no other records of a Berdie Young being married to Joseph Alfred Kissick. I am very familiar with this family's history.
I cannot delete because there are other contributors. I have disconnected the relationship Joseph A Kissick at least.
Thank you for any help.

Thank you for contacting FamilySearch. You could merge S. Berdie Young into Mary Margaret Young since they are meant to be the same person. You can explain your discovery in the reason for the merge. When one looks at the merge, it can be seen that the person should be Mary M. Young.
We wish you the best.

Hi there Kristine Michelle Bullen
did you get in contact with that KuehlDavid who has last been working on that person on the 11 th of November 2020 ??
Did you recognize the added source with the digital image in the sources section of that S. Berdie Young ?? After you removed that Joe kissick, that source should be removed too ..

Hi Kristine.
You are right S. Berdie Young name was incorrectly indexed marriage to Joseph Alfred "Joe" Kissick. The real Berdie is below; from the opposite page.
Source and record of name will need to be edited.

I really like the idea of merging them. Just in case you need instructions on how to merge, here are directions.
