On FHL film #102061084 images #364-377 are marriage records. They have been indexed as baptism records. Is there a way to index them again as marriage records and add the missing spouses. Thank you for all these wonderful records.

    When a batch has been incorrectly indexed, please leave Feedback and return the batch so that it ca be reindexed correctly.

    I was researching my ancestors and came upon their marriage record but then realized it was indexed as baptism records. I cannot return the batch as I was not indexing a batch. Where do I leave feedback? On the original record?

    I think you got a record with errors of transcription.

    We apologize for this inconvenience, you can still attach this record as a source for the person/s and explain the errors in the notes when and where you attach it.

    I you do not see the Edit link you are probably viewing a record that is not correctable. When editing the error is not yet an option, we hope it will become an option in the future.

    Thank you for your patience.

    @RSNeibaur

    First of all you should be congratulated for even being able to read that old German Script. I assume you must be German with a name of Neibaur, but still I tried to decipher the records and had a very difficult time. I agree that the images 364 to 377 appear to be marriage records and not baptism records. However, once a batch is indexed, it would be very difficult to go back and re-index the batch. We are instructed to make what corrections we can. Please see the article from the help menu for further information.

    Craig

    Thank you for taking the time to look into my concern. I hope at some point they will be able to correct all aspects of a document. 😊
