The indexed records are out of sequence with the actual record. Somehow record # 6 has been indexed in the 8th position. Is there a way to move the entire record to its proper position? Or is this a concern?

the top record for 3 April is actual indexed in the last position, after the record with 27 February

While it is recommended to start Indexing from left up to down and to right up to down, sometimes it is acceptable to index not following the order, as long everything is indexed. No changes need to be made.

    Hope it helps

The biggest issue now for indexing out of order is that it makes it harder for a reviewer but the computer does not care either way. As FGGM says no changes need to be made but

There is no way to move records around anymore, but, the order doesn't matter. It sure does make it harder to review though in column form.

I would index the birth county correctly as Mecklenburg since there is no dot over the second e and this scribe did use the dotted i in most cases. Also, check the birth year on entry 5.
