Hi We can't really delete your account but I think we can do what they are asking. First of all, on family search, click on your name in the upper right corner and select settings. Across the top of settings are 3 tabs with permissions on the right. Click permissions and scroll down to partner access. Find Ancestry on the list and click and confirm revoke access. Sometimes Ancestry is listed more than once so do this for each occurrence of Ancestry. What this is doing is revoking access for ancestry to read and write to Family Search.

Next, you can go to Ancestry and log in. Again, click on your name at the upper right on Ancestry. Then click on Account Settings. Scroll down just a little bit to Membership which should be reading "Church of Jesus Christ-Ancestry Membership. Over to the lower right, you can click on cancel membership and confirm your action. Your Ancestry account is now separated from Family Search and ready for a new subscription.

Let us know if you have further questions.

It seems Ancestry is not listed in partner access in Family Search under any name. I contacted Ancestry but apparently there is a glitch that will not allow a disconnection on their end either.

we decided the easiest way at this point is to use a different email address to make a new Ancestry World subscription and just run it on the second monitor. There would probably not be a connection to Family Search but we have not tried that yet.

Not perfect but it will work.
