This example shows that the father was originally created on January 15, 2017, then he, wife, 2nd daughter and son were created June 24, 2021 AFTER the US1910Project duplicate family. Even though the family was mostly created AFTER the US1910Project, the database didn't find a duplicate for the wife, husband or 2nd daughter on June 24, 2021.

US1910Project duplicate family created April 15, 2021:

Willy Wilson   GCRT-FBV father

Lula Wilson GCRT-WKP mother

Grace Wilson GCRT-L47 daughter

Mable Wilson   GCRT-GZL daughter

Existing family in family search created January 15, 2017:

William H. Wilson 27 July 1883 – 24 March 1962   • LR8Q-FP5 created January 15, 2017 (merged with GZLT-N2D created June 24, 2021)

Lula Ryan 10 June 1890 – 11 February 1950 • GZLT-F94 created June 24, 2021

Mable Clara Wilson 21 September 1908 – 5 April 1980   • GZLT-N3L created June 24, 2021

Elmer James Wilson Sr 30 January 1911 – 4 November 1968 • GZLT-4LJ created June 24, 2021

I found another duplicate for the first daughter, Grace Wilson

The Possible Duplicates routine is very strict in the hopes of showing only possible duplicates that are as close to certainly being real duplicates as possible. Recently it was made even stricter because too many people just go ahead and merge any possible duplicates presented without evaluating whether they are real duplicates or not, leading to a bunch of incorrect merges.

This stricter limitation on possible duplicates means there will be tons of duplicates that need to found by us users and be carefully evaluated by people such as yourself before combining them, as you did for this family. This is a good thing. Keep up the great work!

(P.S: I though your post was just about the possible duplicates missing people. Then I found your post under Ideas. It does sound very concerning that the 1910 census project, which sounds more like an indexing project, is putting everyone into Family Tree. That's going to create a huge number of new duplicates.)

This is even a better reason to discontinue this PROJECT!

This is not a spam message. Patron is complaining about multiple duplicates from one person. Unabletodisplay is reporting abuse by US1910Project

When adding the 4th child, he was an existing record in family search with ANOTHER set of parents:

    William Wilson • GH1D-RDF

    Lula Beverly • GH1D-YKM

There is no way the matching software will find these duplicates. Please stop creating even more duplicates with the US1910Project!
