John Patton and Charles J. Patton could be the same and I am not sure how to correct my tree.
Not sure what to do in this case. Another family member has a tree on Ancestry which lists Charles J. Patton. I only knew of a brother John but he could be Charles John and went by the first name John.
My Maternal Grandmother is listed on the other tree as "Lizzie A"
Her correct name was Elizabeth M. Mezo Patton Cavanaugh Forman. Middle name I believe was Mary.
The pronounciation of Elizabeth in Hungarian is Ah-she-bet which could be how that A got in there but I am only guessing.
I only have a copy of her Hungarian Baptism Certificate.
She was born in Hungary and has siblings Rose was the eldest and John was the youngest born in 1913.
I joined Wiki Genealogy. I plan to visit the Mormon Temple which is around the corner from my home in Jupiter.
I hope one day I can figure all of this out and find original documents to all of my family.
I enjoy this genealogy research work on my family tree. I do this in the dark of night.
I appreciate help that people have given to me from FamilySearch.org.
Thank you in advance.

I found your grandmother's entry in Family Tree:
Elizabeth Mary Patton
14 July 1898 – 21 May 1977 • LDFJ-TX5
You have entered several names in the Vitals section for her. The most accurate name should be her given names and her maiden name in the last name field. The other variations of her name (married names) should be included in Other Information. You could include in Other Information the "birth" name of Mezo and then in Vitals, the legal name of Patton. Or, vice versa. . .whichever way you prefer.
There is a knowledge article about entering names, which you may want to refer to:
If John Patton LB4V-YJT and Charles J. Patton GZG8-DBK are duplicates of each other, then you should merge the records and include the "also known as" name in Other Information. There are no sources attached for either. It might be helpful in the process of analyzing whether these are duplicates if you could locate the family in the U.S. censuses. Do you know when the family's last name was changed from Mezo to Patton?
The list of children for Karoly Mezo and Elizabeth Geletyi is a little confusing as the children are born in Hungary, then Hudson, Columbia, New York, and then in Hungary -- alternating back and forth. As is indicated in the Life Sketch for Elizabeth Mary Patton - it appears that there is some question as to which children actually belong. Again, finding the family in the censuses might help clear up some of this confusion.
Hope these ideas help you a little as you sort out the information about your ancestors.

@MAURA FARRELL MILLER, refresh my memory: where did I encounter you previously? I remember translating your grandmother's birth register extract, and finding the marriage of her parents, but I can't for the life of me remember which forum it was on. I know I did some further looking, and I don't want to repeat the work unnecessarily....
