I am a member of the Church. I used to be able to get into Ancestry but now I can't---It says sign up now. When i go to my fathers record and click on Ancestry, it brings up his info but won't let me see details unless I sign up for Ancestry again.

    FYI

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron.

    Firstly ...

    Question:

Have you examined, you "Settings", in 'FamilySearch', to ensure that "Ancestry_com", is STILL, a "Connected" Account, in 'FamilySearch'?

Such can be found in your "Settings" in 'FamilySearch'; and, under, the "Permissions" 'Tab'.

IF, "Ancestry_com", is NOT a "Connected" Account, in your "Settings", in 'FamilySearch'; THEN, that is most likely the Problem/Issue.

    Secondly ...

    And ...

Further to what has already been proffered by "Dellory' ...

Here are some other "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch':

[ Especially; as, you indicate that your "Accounts" were "Connected" ... ]

My account has already been linked to Ancestry

My FamilySearch account has been linked to the wrong Ancestry account

What is the best way to contact Ancestry for help with my FamilySearch account?

Ancestry does not recognize my Church member account

Failing any of the aforementioned, I suggest that you directly contact the "Support" in "Ancestry_com", to see if they cab be of any help/assistance.

    Good Luck.

    I hope this helps.

Hi - You just need to sign into Ancestry using your ancestry username(email) and password. Look in the upper right corner, if you see sign in, click on it and sign in. If you have forgotten, use the ancestry password recovery. Selecting Ancestry from a person page is just a link to Ancestry.com., it does not automatically sign you into Ancestry. If you are already signed into Ancestry you will be able to see the records directly. If you are not signed in. you need to sign in. Most people stayed signed into Ancestry. However, every once in a while you may get signed out of Ancestry for some reason. Just sign back in.

If this doesn't solve your problem, let us know
