When indexing marriages, the groom has Jr at the end of his name. Do I index that Jr with his surname?

In general, no, unless there is a Suffix Field or (rare these days) a Terms and Titles Field.

Please read the Project Instructions and Field Helps for the particular batch and project you are working on. We don't see any instructions regarding suffixes in the General Indexing Guidelines. If there is no Suffix field, the suffix would not be entered unless the Project Instructions or Field Helps state otherwise.

Thank you; it's what I thought and went with while waiting to hear.
