Video files cannot be put in memories. At the present time they are not allowed. It may be possible at some time in the future to add video files but no timeline has been given. You would just need to wait for updates to the system.

If you navigate to Memories - Gallery in Family Tree, you will see a green circle with a plus sign. This is a button you can use to add files to the Gallery. If you click the Plus sign, it will tell you the file types and the max size.

Currently it says "We support .jpg, .tif, .bmp, .png, .pdf, .mp3, .m4a, and .wav, up to 15MB"

None of these formats are for video.

Here is a link to an article that gives a lot of detail on the upload process.

YOU CAN - however create a YOUTUBE Video

and then merely create a story link - that has the URL of the YOUTUBE video.

a DVD file(s) is MILLIONS of times larger than a single photo etc.

(thus it eats up tons of memory - thus one of the factors FS doesnt currently allow)

but upload it to Youtube or another similar service.

I upload the videos to YouTube- and mark them as "unlisted" so only those with links can access them. Then I put the url to the youtube in as a new source. That way the source link takes them directly to youtube from the source.
