Regarding person KG9G-24D (Franciscus van der Burgh) you metion a date and place of baptism, 22 may 1706 in The Hague, Netherlands.

I have checked all the church books of The Hague for that date but I was not able to find the original source.

Can you help me out?

I went to the catalog and typed in Keywords Portugese Kapel. It took me to the "Kerkelijke registers, 1605-1865." There were several different sets of records that would probably contain the information you are searching. I don't speak Dutch so I don't know which are birth records, marriages, deaths, etc. But there are certainly records that have the dates of 1706 when your ancestor was born. I hope that you have success in your search!

I am sorry but this is not an answer to my question.

The question was: were can I find the source of the baptism date of Frans van der Bergh (KG9G-24D), mentioned on familysearch as 22 may 1706 in The Hague.

You send me a baptism date of a child of an indiviual with the name Frans van der Burgh.

If you click on Edit Christening for Frans van der Bergh KG9G-24D you will see the following:

    KG9G-24D.JPG

Note that the person who entered the information gave the source as Portugese Kapel, boek 362, fol. 71.

Does this help to answer your question?

    thanks for the information.

I have found what I was looking for, only: the date of baptism is the 29 may 1706 instead of the 21.

So maybe familySearch might consider to improve their data
