Image 2 has death crossed out but not replaced with additional info. Image 3 shows the column with Date of Death. So are these births or deaths? Please explain the rule to follow.

Samoa—Vital Records, 1846–1996[MSGD-JXX]

Thank you!

I can't access the batch, but for crossed out info, if it isn't replaced, enter the crossed out information.

I can open and see your batch just fine. Scott gave the correct answer - to index the crossed out information.

In the Project Directions, scroll down to the General Indexing Guidelines section and click to open that.

"Crossed-Out, Corrected, Canceled, or Void Information

When information was crossed out, corrected, canceled, or marked void, follow the instructions for “crossed out” that match the situation.

    • When information was crossed out and then replaced, type the new information in the appropriate fields.
    • When information was crossed out, was not replaced, and can be read, type the crossed-out information.
    • When information was crossed out, was not replaced, and cannot be read, mark the field as unreadable by pressing Ctrl+U, or on the indexing toolbar, click the ? icon

Thank you, that's what I thought, but just wanted to make sure.
