How do I/should I connect two entries that appear to be page 1 and page 2 of the same document?

Just my opinion as I am not an employee or a moderator, but, I have indexed and reviewed alot of Naturalization documents over the past few years. We have always indexed each image of the petition separately unless it appeared on the same image. The example on how to index an Oath of Allegiance is also on the back page of the Petition, and it is indexed separately. Also, the instructions say not to use the date from the Affidavit of Witness statement unless it is on the same page. Both of those instructions lend to not indexing the petition as a document that spans two images.

Melissa is correct. You would index each page separately. So index the first page (image) and then go to the next image and index the Oath of Allegiance. Only the name of that person would be indexed as Claudia Ruth Mozur. Those doing research will be able to find both documents as Claudia is also listed on the first image. I hope that this helps.
