Would school board Trustees and board of examiners fall under county and city officials, which are NOT indexed? I am reviewing batch# M3WL-J3S, where the first page is all names of School Board members and was indexed.

Thanks,

Susan

School board trustees and board of examiners are not either city or county officials. School districts have their own boundaries and do not conform to either city or county boundaries. I always say - when it doubt, index it rather than exclude it and obviously whoever indexed this batch agreed with me.

Are you from Family Search, or is that just your opinion?

It's my best judgment and I am a FamilySearch missionary.

One of the main rules of indexing is to use your best judgment. I agree with the indexer's best judgment for this batch.
