US—City and Business Directories, 1749–1990 [Part C][M3WG-181]
I think the Directory Place and Year are located on the bottom of the left hand page on this batch, but I'm not sure. If it truly is at the bottom, should the Directory Place be indexed as New York City or New York City, NY? Is the Directory Year 1898?

I am doing those batches as well. The year is 1898 and it is New York City. You are totally correct!
