How do I merge by ID?

I know how to merge but I don' know how to do it by ID can someone help me please?

I understand that you would like to know how to merge duplicate records using the ID numbers. This is a very easy process and begins in the Tools Section where there is the option to merge by ID. The following link will provide complete information and guidance.

1) Copy the ID number of the person you want to merge away.

2) Go to the person you want to merge into.

3) On the right hand side of that person's detail page, scroll to Merge by ID:

4) Click there, paste in the ID number, click continue then proceed with the merge.
