Can the New Discovery Person Page be edited?
I really like the new Discovery Person Page. I am wondering if there is a way to edit it. I am especially interested in editing the Life Summary. My great grandfather had a stepmother and even though I have chosen his biological mother as the preferred mother in the summary it uses his stepmother. I would like to be able to change that. Is there a way?
Here is his page: https://ancestors.familysearch.org/en/KNCK-D6P/silviano-giannetti-1861-1944
Thank you.

When we look at the record for Silviano Giannetti • KNCK-D6P we see the preferred parents as

The only way to make changes to the discovery page is to make changes in Family Tree. It is also our understanding the the discovery page is generated from the information in Family Tree and that updates appear periodically (the updates are completed on a schedule not in real time). Thus it can take some time for any changes to be implemented into the discovery pages. If strange locations and similar situations occur please look at the standardized locations in Family Tree because they may be causing the issue.

What about editing a clearly incorrect life summary when the data in FamilySearch has always been correct?
My mother had a son and a daughter with her first husband, then a daughter with a second man, then me with her third husband. However, her life summary states that she had “at least two daughters with” the second man.
How do I correct that?

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
You are not alone ...
I understand where you are coming from ...
But ...
That Said ...
Short Answer: Unfortunately you CANNOT ...
Just for starters,
▬ "Programme" ( ie. "Ancestors.FamilySearch"); being, "Discovery Pages", is driven by 'FamilySearch'; and,
▬ ONLY 'Displays' ONE Spouse, NOT "Multiple", if there is MORE than ONE.
Furthermore ...
"Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch'; and, "Ancestors.FamilySearch", of 'FamilySearch', are two (x2) separate and distinct Programmes, that run independently to each other, although the latter relies/feed from the former.
We have been advised, that the "Discovery Pages" ONLY list ONE Spouse.
As to what criteria is used, to "Choose" WHICH "Spouse" is displayed, that is another matter; and, debatable.
As, such does not appear be, TOTALLY dependent, on the "Preferred" Couple/Family relationship chosen; especially, if the "Preferred" Spouse DOES NOT have a "Discovery Page".
And, also ...
IF, the FIRST (or, NEXT) Spouse(s) DOES NOT have a "Discovery Page"; THEN, they certainly will NOT appear on the "Discovery Page" of you Ancestor.
------------------
Please be aware ...
The "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch", are ONLY, simply, to enable (SOME of) the individuals/persons, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', to be "Found" (ie. located), by ANYONE, doing a search on the INTERNET, for such an individuals/persons.
The "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch", are NOT any form of definitive "Resource" for Genealogy/Family History research.
The "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch", are simply to bring OTHERS, not aware of; or, already associated with, "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', TO discover 'FamilySearch'; and, especially, to enable them, to participate in, "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', if the so desire - nothing more, nothing less.
And ...
NOT All individuals/persons, in 'Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', have "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch".
------------------
Just my thoughts.
I am certainly not, defending; or, promoting, the "Discover Pages"; or, use thereof.
I know that this may not particularly help; but, I hope this gives you some, insight; and, perspective.

The reason for the wording "at least" to to account for the records of living persons attached to the deceased person for whom you are viewing the Discovery Page. The life summary will not disclose the living persons as that is in violation of the FamilySearch privacy policy.
