Group Sources by Event with ability to collapse group

I have noticed that some sources are indexed many times. The top 5 are all the same. The bottom 2 are a marriage license and a marriage register.

It would be nice if all of these records could be grouped on the source page under the 1 "Marriage" event that could then be clicked to expand to see the records. It really clutters up the source list when there are many duplicate records for one source.

I attach all of the records so that if anyone else is looking for a "Nathan King" they will see that the records already refer to to someone that might not be their ancestor.

Here are 5 more sources for only 2 events:

So for Nathan King (9Z6N-WL3) for the12 sources shown, there are only 3 distinct events.

Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum ...

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    FYI

Those SIMILAR "Sources", being DIFFERENT "indexings" of the SAME "Document" (ie. "Event"), CAN, already, be "... grouped together ..." in the "Sources" 'Tab' of, an Individual/Person; and/or, a Couple.

Such can be done by ensuring that ALL the "Sources" have a 'Date' (ie, in this case, the SAME 'Date') in that 'left-hand-side' "Date" Column, in the "Sources" 'Tab'.

That way the "Sources" WILL be grouped together by 'Date' if the 'Option' of "Sorting" the "Sources" by "Chronological Order" is enabled.

Or, doing so makes it MUCH Easier to 'Place' the "Sources" in an order that one desires, if one uses the 'Option' of "Sorting" the "Sources" by "Custom Order".

    As an aside ...

I know, I have, MANY; Many; many, both, Individuals/Persons; and/or, a Couples, with MANY "Sources" attached (eg. some with some 70 to 100 "Sources"); and, MANY; Many; many of those "Sources" are SIMILAR "Sources", being DIFFERENT "indexings" of the SAME "Document" (ie. "Event").

    I hope this helps.

    Brett
