Are there blessings for indexing?

Personally, doing some indexing a few days a week has helped me to serve in a different way. When we understand that by indexing a record, someone somewhere will be able to now find this valuable record of their ancestor, we can change how we view indexing. Without volunteers to participate in indexing, we wouldn't be able to add the vast amount of records that are being photographed, so that people everywhere can find more records of their ancestors.
I now view my time spent indexing as an invaluable service to all who want to research their family tree and therefore feel my ability to serve those around me has grown. This act of service, performed regularly, helps to improve my life and focus it on what is important - Eternal Families. My love for it grows each time I do it!

Indexing gives me peace in a swirling world around me. I love solving the problem of reading the handwriting. I love puzzles. Indexing to me is solving puzzles.

Richard Quiroga, this can clarify the doubts that you have.
the stories of indexing could give an inspiring moment that they had when indexing, the history of how they started, or simply, how the indexing has given them JOY OR SATISFACTION in their everyday life. it's possible that not all the members of the group had something to share, even a single story could invite THE SPIRIT TO THE MEETING/GATHERING.
make/do the goal of speaking about the/your indexing with someone outside of the group and SHARE AN EXPERIENCE that they have had. if the indexing has BENEFITED YOUR LIFE, their histories could elevate others.
the social links can create a grand experience with indexing, but this story is different with every group(different people). whether you chat through Facebook or WhatsApp, start a video call or start sending text messages among everyone while indexing, THOSE FAMILY TIES(friendly people you know) REALLY CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
you can exchange ideas and later search help resources in family search, help resources in family search wiki[english link], and help resources in other websites on the internet.
AFTER GETTING A TESTIMONY OF INDEXING, WILL HAVE JOY AND WE WILL ALLOW OUR HEAVENLY FATHER THAT WE MAY COME INTO HIS PRESENCE AND WIN THE AWARD OF BEING ABLE TO HAVE "THE LIFE ETERNAL(eternal life)".
-end of message-
That was so beautiful to translate, and i hope that you will gain that testimony for yourself.

For myself, indexing has blessed me with joy, the same joy i feel when i'm reading my patriarchal blessing, because I am doing the lord's work and I'm gathering israel from the other side of the veil.

I feel joy in indexing for 3 reasons: 1) It is a service to the church and to families working on their Genealogy. 2) It is a service to those waiting on the other side for their ordinances. Sometimes (as in the Temple) I can feel their presence and thanks. 3) I can escape the world.
