On our new computer the ruler doesn't show. I tried Batch-Settings-Apply but it still doesn't show.

Click on Data Entry and then select Show Ruler from the drop down list. A check mark will appear if the ruler is active.

When you first turn it on, it likes to hide way up at the top of the image and you may have to look for it.

And if you ever lose track of it after a lot of zooming in and out and moving the image around, just turn it off and on, and it will be at the “Home” position near the top as Dellory mentioned.
