Are there family tree training videos available? For example how to add a father, mother or child

Yes, there are many videos in the Help Center. You can click on the help button on the top right hand corner of the website, and type in your questions to get answers.

Another way is to go to the Research Wiki under Search in the FamilySearch.org website and find the begineer's lessons and videos. https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Main_Page

Another resource is the https://www.thefhguide.com/ which has uptodated guides and videos.
