I have just noticed that my late ex-husband and I have the same ID number. How do I fix this? How did I manage to do that?

IF, you are referring that BOTH of you have the SAME 'FamilySearch Person Identifier' (PID); THEN, can I suggest that you lake a look at and check-out the "ChangeLog" (ie. on the 'right-hand-side', of the "Person/Details" page/screen', THIRD Section down, "Latest Changes", down at the 'bottom' of that section, select that "Show All").

To 'see' if there is any there that might indicate such (eg. 'Changes' in the "Name"; or, "Merges"/"Combines"; or, the like).

    Just a quick thought.

I would check carefully to make sure the two IDs are truly identical and report the problem to Support, if so. I have never read any previous report of this happening. The only way two previously separate IDs should ever become one is if a merge had been carried out involving two IDs of deceased persons of the same sex.
