Adding members to Subgroups?

I just made a subgroup for my ward and am trying to add members but can't figure out what name to put in for "Contact Names", the username and real names of people don't seem to be working for invites.

In Web Indexing, you can create a subgroup within an already existing indexing group.

It looks like you need to send them an email using their family search contact name? I found that info at the bottom of this link I'm sending you where it says "next steps."
