1840 Census for Jesse Grayson in Arkansas, Scott Co. The Image Number 0002474

It list Jesse Grayson, Scott, Mississippi. How could this happen. I just happen to know it is Arkansas.

    @Pat Robbins_1 We have had some issues with auto-standardization of places in several of the census records. If you will contact Support (https://www.familysearch.org/help/), they can get a case to engineers to fix it.

    You only needed to click on "Edit" to change the standard place name to Scott, Arkansas. Now changed. However, this only changes the record against Jesse Grayson. As suggested, you will have to report this to have any chance of getting the state changed to Arkansas for other individuals indexed from this collection.
