I am indexing Wisconsin birth records. On the record: Number of child of this mother: one. Number of children, of this mother, now living: none. Do I mark the deceased indicator yes? There are no other indications on this birth record that this child died. Thanks!!!

Without seeing the batch, I cannot give a definitive answer. If it does not say "stillborn" or "deceased" I would put No on deceased indicator.

It is always best to share the batch so others can see what you are seeing. To share the batch, click on the third icon from the right and follow the instructions. I'm sure someone will be around later to help! Thanks.
