I am working on the following record: México, Sinaloa—Registro Civil, 1861–1929 [Parte L][MSR1-MD2] and I came across a death record for a stillborn child. Do I add the record twice, once as a birth record and again as the death record or just the death record?

You would only index this record once as a death record since that is the record type.

The project instructions tell us not to create duplicate entries for the same person:

    • Index only the primary record type for each record entry. For example, do not index information about a subsequent marriage or death that may have been written next to a birth record.
