When starting a tree Do I use a maiden name?

If I make a mistake how do I correct it?

    in FamilySearch Family Tree - names for women should always be entered as a MAIDEN NAME.

    I guess there is no way for me to mark someone else's question as answered? Just figuring out this new platform.

    Michael: Interesting ibservation. In the old community - simply a reply to the question would move it out of the "unansswered" set.


    In the new community things work differently - Would be nice if at a minumum the admin/leader could mark it as answered.
