How do I delete one or combine them
You need to merge them. Copy one of the ID numbers and then go to the second entry. On the right hand side under Tools click Merge By ID. Enter the copied ID number and follow the directions from there.
You should merge one with the other. Select the one with the best sources, or the most correct information. Then capture the ID # of the other one. Use the merge ID tab on the Right way down on the page and merge the two. If you have problems, make an appointment on my calendar and I can help you. 'Yes', you DO NOT need to "Delete" one; and, in fact, you most likely will NOT be able to "Delete" an individual/person - that can ONLY be effected under certain circumstances, if certain conditions are in place.
"Merging"/"Combining" would be the way to go ...
Here are some "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch':
How do I decide if two records in Family Tree are about the same person?
How do I merge possible duplicates in Family Tree?
How do I merge duplicates in Family Tree by ID?
I hope these help.
