BUG: Source Linker drops surname prefix
When linking persons in source to persons in FamilyTree; sometimes we come across individuals that are not yet in FamilyTree. These persons can be easily added on the Source Linker page. When the surname of person being added has a prefix (like "de", "van", etc); this prefix is DROPPED! I hope someone can please fix this BUG sooner rather than later.

I’m going to try to share this with the “FamilySearch ideas” group.

.
FYI
.
The "FamilySearch.Community" Forum" is not really the place to report 'Problems'/'Issues' relating to "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' (or, for that matter, the MAIN "Parts" of 'FamilySearch')
.
Rather, the "FamilySearch.Community" Forum", is about Users/Patrons HELPING Users/Patrons.
.
The OLD 'FamilySearch' ("GetSatisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum, of which you were a participant, was TEMPORARILY "Replaced" with a NEW Platform, which is still in operation.
.
That NEW Platform is the place to report 'Problems'/'Issues' relating to "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
As such ...
.
Can I humbly suggest that, if, you have not already done so; then, the best place to, propose 'Ideas' (eg. suggested enhancements); or, report 'Problems'/'Issues' [ such as YOURS ], relating to "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' (or, for that matter, ANY "Part" of 'FamilySearch') is in the (New) "IDEAS' ('Feedback') Forum, which is currently, on a separate platform, within this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
.
.
Here is the direct 'link' to that (New) "IDEAS' ('Feedback') Forum:
https://community.familysearch.org/s/idea/Idea/Default
.
The (New) "IDEAS' ('Feedback') Forum can also be accessed from the 'Bottom', of just about, any page/screen, through (by accessing) the "Feedback" 'Link'.
.
.
Where a "Pop-Up" (aka: "Modal") 'Window' will appear ...
.
Where you select, the "Go to Discussion Board" ('Button'/'link'), under the "Community Discussion".
.
.
The (NEW) "IDEAS" Forum is MONITORED by "Official 'FamilySearch' Representatives" (eg. Product Managers; and, Engineers/Developers) responsible for the "Design" and "Development" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
I hope this helps.

.
ps: Of course, you could also submit a "Support" Case, just to 'cover all bases'.

I just came from https://community.familysearch.org/s/idea/0874V000000skh9QAA/detail
I have come across this issue too and reported last October via cases; it's still not fixed. I don't think mobile has the issue though.
