If you are seeing different Id numbers for living people, but on different trees, that is as it should be. Information for living does not cross over between trees. Each living person will get a new ID number each time they are added to a new tree. Once the person is deceased, every one who has that person in their tree needs to change the living status to deceased, then all the deceased records need to be merged into one deceased record.

Dont expect that the ID you have in your accounn for your parents will be the same ID as they have when they log on to their own account.

    This is by design.

dont try to fix it - you cant - and you shouldnt.

Deceased persons however - shoudl indeed be the same ID no matter whose account is use.

@adammichaelhancock1 adammichaelhancock1 - If it is a duplicate within your own tree, you can maybe merge them. If it is a different ID number on your tree vs. a relative's tree, this is because they are living. They can all be merged after they eventually pass away.

You should only be able to see the living people who you created so I'm assuming you created the two entries. Can you merge them by copying the ID number of one of them, then go to the other entry and on the right hand side Merge By ID.

If that doesn't work, you can try deleting one of the entries. And if that doesn't work, you can try contacting customer support.
