I'm not sure if you should. I was offended when I found the picture of my husband's great-grandparents all over Ancestry because someone had copied it and not credited the source. Not that I need credit, but I embarrassed myself by getting all excited that someone had a copy of our photo and I contacted them to find out their story of how the picture came to be in their family's possession.
That said, I have copied photos by right clicking and doing a Save Image As and then I post where I got the image and who posted it originally.

Provided to are referring to a "Memory" associated with an individual/person in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' ...

I just tried the "Help Centre" looking for "...copy photo (or, photograph)"
To no avail.
'Yes', NOT very helpful.

But, by experience, I knew the right word to use ... "download" ... not, copy.

Reason being ... you download a "Memory", you do not copy a "Memory".

"Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch':

How do I download the memories (photos, stories, documents, and audio files) about my ancestors?

I hope this helps.

IF, you are referring to copying/downloading, an "Image", of one of the many "Records", from all around the World, in the "Search" (Records) Part of 'FamilySearch'; THEN, that is another matter entirely.
.
IF, the latter is the case; THEN, please advise.

Thank you very much, Brett, for your response. It is indeed the latter case, where I wish to copy/download an image from a FamilySearch family tree not my own (though part of my family).

It does not matter what part of the 'Tree' in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' ...
I am still NOT sure from where ...
(1) a "Memory" associated with an individual/person?; OR,
(2) the "Image" of a "Document" of a "Source" attached to an individual/person?
A, "Memory", can usually be Download (as per that "Knowledge Article").
Whereas, "Images" of "Sources" cannot always be Download, sometimes they can.
So, which is it?

Brett,
I've found a solution by simply clicking on an image, then downloading to my computer. Thanks a lot for your help.

Brett,
It is Memory associated with an individual. I was able to download those. I'd hoped originally to be able to simply use the copy function on my computer, but the download worked fine (once I found it!). Thank you!
