Hello, I'm a newbie and I'm looking for a C-file number. There is a list on Family Search that shows there are C-files, but I can't figure out how to search for them. Sorry for the cluelessness and thank you in advance for any help - it is much appreciated!

    Question(s):

    WHAT is a "C-File"?

    Or, are you referring to the "Prefix" of the "Indexing Project (Batch) Number" of a "Source", for example, "C75023-2".

    A C-file has to do with naturalization documents and I think I was mistaken about being able to search for it here. Thank you so much for trying to clarify, Brett!
