I am trying to find out if the GS has microfilmed the death records of Dalton, MA from the year 1925

I have an ancestor that has his death listed in the death record index for 1925 in Dalton, but I can not find a record listing the death certificate in all of the search sources that I can find. FS, Ancestry, etc.

If I were able to, I would look to see if there is a microfilm in the GS index and would just visually search the film, but I can't see how to do that.

Help, please.

Records from 1841 to 1925 are housed at the Massachusetts Archives. Every five years, another block of five years is transferred from the Registry of Vital Records and Statistics to the Archives. Free; Includes links to Family Search databases with digitized images of Massachusetts Vital Records, 1841 to 1920. https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/How_to_Find_Massachusetts_Death_Records

I just checked the 'FamilySearch' "Catalogue" ...

    .

It DOES NOT look like it ...

[Possibly, neither, 'Filmed'; or, 'Indexed'; as such, nor, 'On-Line'; or, 'Restricted']

    .

    Dalton _ Massachusetts _ USA _ Vital Records _ Death 1925 _ NO.

Here is the link to the result of the search ...

I am "Tagging" this (General) 'Question' of yours in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, to two (x2) specific 'Groups' in the Forum being:

    (1)  "New England" ... [ which Includes: Massachusetts ]; and,

    (2)  "United States Genealogy Research",

in the hope that, the members of those groups may be able to answer/assist you.

    .

Both, those Groups, are "Public", which you can join, if you wish.
