My last name is incorrect on my profile page. It should be Smith, not Jones. How do I change it??

Click on Edit name then you can change the name.

Just in case ...

In regards to Users/Patrons, who are Members of the Church, PREVIOUSLY, one's "Name", was generally taken from one's "Membership Record" in the Church. Such generally needed to be addressed/fixed through the "Clerk" of one's Ward/Branch; but, with the separation of both, our 'Church' Account; and, our 'FamilySearch' Account, I am not so sure such is the case any longer.

It appears NOW, for ALL Users/Patrons ...

In regards to one's "Home"/"Land" page/screen of your 'FamilySearch' Account, the "Display Name", CAN be "Changed" in the "Settings" of one's 'FamilySearch' Account.

[ ie. https://www.familysearch.org/identity/settings/account ... under "Names" ]

In regards to one's "Person/Details" page/screen; as, an individual/person, in "Family Tree", 'FamilySearch', the "Name" in the "Vitals" Section, CAN be "Changed" by just using the "Edit" function/feature/facility.

[ ie. As per the "Image" provided by 'Marcel Blais' ... https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/{Your PID} ]

[ But, remember, that should be your BIRTH Name (ie. 'Last Name'/'Surname'), NOT, MARRIED one ... ]

[ A MARRIED Name (ie. 'Last Name'/'Surname'), should appear as an 'Alternate Name' in 'Other Information' ]

In regards to one, in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, that comes from one's 'FamilySearch' Account; and, must be "Changed", in the "Settings", of one's 'FamilySearch' Account (ie. User Name).
