Indexing of City Directories
When indexing City Directories, we're asked to add the year and the location. Unfortunately, unless we can see the title page and/or the book cover in the reference image section, there's no way to see this information for many directories. It would be nice to have that included in the directory reference images. Or, if that data was completed for us before we index.

Can I humbly suggest that you post this problem/issue of yours in the 'Group' being "Indexing Chat" in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum; so that, the members of that group can answer/assist you.

And, it is more likely to be quickly passed onto the right people in 'FamilySearch', if need be.

By the way, that 'Group' is a "Public" group, which may join, if you so desire.

The year/location data will likely be completed after the indexing is done. While I don't know the logistics behind it, I can assure you that the year/location data will not be lost for any of these pages and will be available to view in the completed index.
But yes, this sort of thing is a great topic for Indexing Chat! Please feel free to swing by sometime and strike up a discussion!
