Patty Ogden said: Source box - It would be great if the source box were "sortable." I change the titles to reflect what's in the document using the name of the primary person first. When I go back to the source box it would be great if I could then sort it by name to more quickly find the person I'm looking for.

Initially the source box was set up as a temporary place to store a source, which, when attached to all the persons involved, could be deleted.

Many users are like you -- wanting to retain a source in a sortable list indefinitely.

I don't know what, if anything, are in the works with regard to the source list by the FamilySearch development teams.

If you are using the source list to track individuals, and not sources, then I recommend you use the watch list, which has a capacity of 4,000 names (at the present time). It is sortable by first or last name, sex, and ID number, as well as birth or death dates.

If you are using the source list for tracking sources, then there is a limited ability to group the sources into folders, which are automatically arranged in numeric-alphabetical order.
