Easily found - it's at https://www.familysearch.org/help/hel... Some good tips here - a shame it can't be given even more prominence in order to help less experienced users in their searches.

What is somewhat irritating is if you click on Getting Started it takes you to a site page that is dedicated to introducing FamilySearch FamilyTree.
However... (and this is where a style guide, if used, would really, really help), the material on that page constantly refers to "Your" tree. There is no "My" or "Your" tree with the massive tree on FamilySearch. That page -- https://www.familysearch.org/home/etb... -- needs to be edited and the misinformation, corrected.
Why does FamilySearch describe FamilyTree as a Social Network? The tree is a Genealogical Construct containing the names and relationships and information of deceased people who have been identified by other users.
It should not identify the tree (in this instance) as "My" tree or as "Your" tree. This is very misleading and we get a lot of people that we have to explain that there is no "My" or "Your" tree.
As to Search Historical Records, there is absolutely no reference to the Article, and yet, here is where it would be most useful.
This is the second part of the same page. Here, "Your" tree actually refers to the private place where users can find and record the information about themselves and their living relatives.0 -
