    I hope this is a good place to post this. For <https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6CTR-STNN>, this name is indexed incorrectly, and the system does not permit the right correction. This record shows that Mary E Lamoreaux was born 6 April 1848, but it doesn't say where. This is a cemetary record in Luzerne Co. PA, that's where she's buried, not where she was born. The indexing says born there. When I edit the birth location, there's no way to just delete the location.

    blank => BZZZT!

    USA or Europe => BZZZT!

    Planet Earth => BZZZT!

    There is simply no way to put it right.

    I see that this link isn't working but I don't have time to fiddle with it.

    I figured out why the link didn't work: The last two characters, ">," are not supposed to be part of the link, but are included as part of it.

    Either way, I can't really help. I've run into the same issue you did. I put in some feedback, so hopefully they'll get that sorted out.

    https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6CTR-STNN The image from which this index was taken is not available to be viewed, therefore editing the index is not allowed. For more info, please see the Help Center articles How do I correct indexing errors in historical records? and Why can't I fix indexing or transcription errors?
