I know it’s frustrating and states don’t make it easy... need the birth record to get a name... need the death cert to get the birth certificate... can’t get the death cert without a name ... reminds me of the song “will it go round in circles” and “round and round, what comes around goes around”

Hi @Rene Greer Williams maybe you can help me with this.. I’ve tried to upload mine to gedmatch ... they say click the link to load from ftdna, I do that... it takes me to a ftdna page that says “connected” under gedmatch... but there aren’t any other options .. gedmatch says mine had been uploaded.. but it doesn’t show anything

I got too excited about the 948 cM unknown. Although he/she hasn't contacted me, on Ancestry you can click on "Shared." Apparently the 948 unknown is on my mother's side.

Jim, if you don't know who this person is, you could have a new mystery to solve! 😄

That’s why there’s so many friggin references to their property! I couldn’t figure that out! THANK YOU‼️ @Rene Greer Williams I also noticed that the Indian orphanage would take the property as payment when they’d take a child in (it was called the Indian orphanage, I mean no disrespect to anyone, and harm intended)

I am going to close this question because it has become too difficult to navigate. Jim, please start a new question and we can continue with the discussion. We have discovered many things in these threads. It seems like with each discovery, we create a new question. Let's try to start each new question in a new post to see if we can eliminate some of the confusion of the long posts.
