Hi Sister Dalebout,
Look in the move-out records for Mönsterås here (#67): v40517.b95.s92 . It looks like he has changed his name to Sellberg and I think it says he has moved to an "unknown place". I cannot find him in the Swedish Death Book under that birthdate (12 March 1831) or any name. The note at the very bottom of the page is referring to him as well. It says something about "to Hvetlanda in Jönköpings Län" but there is more here than I can decipher. Perhaps @Morris Geoffrey Fröberg could take a look at this and see if there are any hints to his whereabouts.

Hi #[JudithDalebout1 JudithDalebout1] ,
There are 2 comments written in this record for the girdle maker apprentice Alfrid Isaksson Sellberg. The upper one gives his birth date and Elghult is the birthplace. I’m not sure what the abbreviations L.A. 1850 No. 43 is referring to. He received a moving certificate to leave the parish for an undecided location, without blame of Sellbergs conduct is underlined, 1852 No. 67.
The lower comment means, it was said (he) was involved in a fight on 1 May 1852. A certificate was given upon request: the girdle maker Alfrid Isaksson Sellberg who ___ wanted to take a trip to Hvetlanda in Jönköpings county and thereafter to return, is born in Elghult on 12 March 1831, residing and for following year tax registered in Mönsterås Köping and properties, with notation that he was accused for assault (referring to the fight) wherein (it) decided (he was) not convicted, in general good character. Witnessed (or decided) by M? (abbreviated) in Kalmar county ?2 of June 1852 and then some initials.
The moving out record in 1852 I think says Obst. Ort (undecided place). I don't why he is not showing up in the 1847 - 1940 databases on AD or MyHeritage or the Death Index. I wonder if he died or changed his last name?
