RE: Operating systems for family history center computers

Article Id: 6346, Published October 26, 2020

In this article it states that Windows 10 Professional is the support operating system. So, if a computer has Windows 10 Enterprise, as we able to leave it alone, as it has the features of the Professional version, or do we need to downgrade the license to Windows 10 Pro?

Do not downgrade! the article is a bit out of date. You are using the correct operating system.

    .

    FYI

    .

You have not indicated where you "Family History Centre" (FHC) is located ...

    .

    As such ...

    .

As I suspect; and, just in case your FHC is located in "North America" ...

    .

I am "Tagging" this (General) 'Question' of yours, in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, to two (x2) specific (Private) 'Groups' being:

    (1) "Family History Centre Consultants"; and,

    (2) "FHC Technical Support (North America)",

in the Forum; so that, the members of that group can better answer/assist you.
