Can I add a second spouse to my tree, and if so, how
I am divorced from my first wife in 1997. I am estranged from my second wife, her whereabouts unknown. Furthermore, I currently have a non-nuptial, Platonic partnership relationship with a third person. As I am 75 years old, and there are no divorce laws in the Philippines, she kindly takes care of me in my old age. But how to show this on the Tree?

Short Answer: You can add MANY Spouses/Wives/Partners/Whatever as you wish.
.
FYI
.
In fact, in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', the limit, is that you can have as many as 200 Spouses/Wives/Partners/Whatever.
.
So ...
That said ...
.
You can certainly add your THIRD "Couple" Relationship.
.
You can, either,
(1) Leave the 'Event' as "Blank"; or,
(2) Better still, choose, the 'Event' of "Lived Together"
as the exact type of relationship is not an issue, does not matter.
.
But ...
That said ...
.
As an aside ...
.
Make sure/certain that you add copious "Notes", everywhere you can, as to what your THIRD relationship is like.
.
As you are "Living" ...
NO other User/Patron will (currently) 'see', YOU, YOUR "Living" Spouses/Wives/Partners/Whatever; or, your relationships with them.
.
But, when you die ...
And, when (and, if) your 'status' is EVER "Changed" from "Living" to "Deceased"
(and, the same for your "Living" Spouses/Wives/Partners/Whatever) ...
Then, other Users/Patrons will then 'see' those "Notes"; and, have knowledge of your relationship.
.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Brett, but I am a rank amateur. I can't even figure how to get back to the "event". I went to the tree, then to "person", but I could not find the event again. Not only that, but I have got to be in the wrong place. Also, but I don't see any option to edit wives, partners, etc. Thanks

Questions
.
Associated with you ...
(1) Do you have, FIRST and SECOND Spouses/Wives; and, THIRD Partner?
(2) Or, do you only FIRST; but, not the SECOND and THIRD yet?
(3) Or, do you have FIRST and SECOND; but, not THIRD.
.
This may help ...
.
The "Add Spouse" (or, better still "Add (ANOTHER) Spouse") facility/function/feature is just above your name in the "Family Members" Section (ie. the bottom Section).

I am, one of those 'Old Folks' ...
I am, just a few years less than you ...
I have, just been doing this for a long time ...
And, I am slightly Computer 'savvy' ...
