Question: Is the "Record", that you 'found', one that is in/from 'FamilySearch?
.
Your post is a little confusing ...
.
What do you mean by "... A regular search ..."
And, "... the search engine doesn't locate the record ..."?
Where did you 'find' the Record, if not through a "Search"?
.
Is you Ancestor ALREADY in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch"?
Or, are you "Adding" then to "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch" through the Record.
.
Can you be more specific?

There are two places where you can add records like this: to the page of the individual to whom it refers, and to your Source Box. Your terminology is confusing to us when you say you "can't add it to my tree".
Have you tried adding it to the ID for Margaret Flynn by clicking on "Review and Attach Record" from the page for which you have provided us with the link? After clicking on that, it should be a straightforward exercise of inputting Margaret's ID reference in the box and adding it to her record from the next page.
Also, I wonder if you have carried out this exercise successfully in the past. I have never encountered any problems in attaching similar sources (records) myself, so it is difficult to know whether I am fully appreciating the nature of the trouble you are experiencing here.

Liam, were you able to attach the record? Is your ancestor id GMXR-99D? If not you need the id of the person you are adding this record to. When you go to the record, then type review and attach, type the id in the box at the top with select beside it. This is one place that the id must have the dash. I wonder if that’s your problem. Most of time its not needed. Then you can hit select.you should be able to add from there.
The other way:go to Her person page in FS. When you get to her person page, search from there for the record. You may have to expand the birth range on the left to 1820 in the search fields. You can put the death place and 1899 in the search criteria. You can also go to type and click death. The record should come up. You can attach from there.
