If you do not find the person you are looking for in Family Search that is not connected to your family, click on the link below and follow the directions in that article from the Help Center in order to add that person to Family Search.
You can then attach any memories to that record. Click on the link below for the article found in the Help Center.

The preceding link is how to ADD an unonnected person into FS FT if you need to .
BUT be sure and do a FIND first - you can find anyone in the database of billions of people - the FIND option is not just for YOUR family - you can find anyone family or not - and then you can add memories to the record you find.

I would never have known that.
"+ Add unconnected person" should have a section to itself, not under recents ....
something that hasn't been added is NOT recent
