Someone attached the wrong record as spouse to my great grandmother. The name and dates are Similar
I don't know where to start. I see no way to detach the two records and my GGrandfather has no ID#. He is mentioned in several of the records attached to this Califirnia person, but attached to the incorrect person. The whole record is a mess, combining two or maybe 3 people's info. Isn't here any hope of untangling it?

Your post is somewhat confusing ...
.
What is very confusing, is when you say, your Great Grandfather has NO identification number.
.
Are you saying that your Great Grandfather is NOT yet in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'?
.
Or, you saying that, an INCORRECT individual/person, in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', is associated as the Spouse (/Husband) of you Great Grandmother?
.
Or, then again, are you referring to, an (Indexed) Record in "FamilySearch'; as, a "Source", that is already attached to someone in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
Can you please clarify.

I apologize. It is hard to sort out. Evidently there is another John F. Stout that has a California death and headstone, whom has had records attached that are referring to my GGrandfather, John Stout who was born in Indiana in a similar time and died a few years different from this record, in Indiana and is buried with the rest of his family....wife and siblings. I have not found a John Stout with the right dates etc. When I look for him and ID number on Family search. The California John Stout has another wife and children and yet this ID is linked to records that are my GGrandfather's. I am pretty new to this genealogy stuff, and do not know how to sort this out. The outlier is ID K4BZ-G4Y. Note death as California. In Find a grave, there is memorial 82738217 in West Point Cemetary in Liberty, Union, Indiana, USA for John Franklin Stout 1862-1938, spouse Margaret McKillip. Buried nearby are my grandparents. If I had not grown up, hearing my father and grandparents talk about the McKillips as kin, I might not question the K4BZ-G4Y information. Sorry...this is probably still clear as mud!
