    where?

    FamilySearch FamilyTree?

    FamilySEarch Records?

    elsewhere?

in FamilySearch Family Tree - there is an "edit" button next to each name for making changes.

@BarbaraUhlenkott BarbaraUhlenkott it depends on what you’re trying to do... if you or someone else has entered the name misspelled in the FSFT, then a you can go to the person page and choose “vitals” and click on “edit” for the name ... if the person in the FSFT is named “Bob Smith” and for some reason you think it should be “Joe Gordon” then there’s a lot more than a spelling error. If you’re trying to change who the person is altogether, please be certain there’s enough documented evidence for this change because it changes a lot more than just the name ... if you’re trying to add a “AKA or Also known as” then this can be done on the person page under the “other” section ... choose “add” then click “also known as” and it will add the name to the persons info. there’s way more possible answers than and details than what I just gave you, for anyone to be able to completely and correctly assist with this query, we would need to know exactly what it is that you’re trying to do? Hope this was helpful 😊
