So who's in charge of the Family History Center now since there are no longer Directors and we all have the same calling? Lots of Indians no chief!

@johnharveydawson1 johnharveydawson1 Family History Centers still have "directors". Their calling is Stake Temple and Family History Consultant--Family History Center. They serve under the direction of the high council member over temple and family history for the stake. If you'd like to learn more about the calling, a good Help Center article (with lots of links to other articles) is Resources for a new stake family history center consultant

'No', there are not lots of indians and no chief ...

    .

In the Church, the person responsible for the day to day operations of a "Family History Centre" of the Church, anywhere around the World, which is a "Stake" position, has the 'Calling' of:

    .

Stake (or District), Temple and Family History, Consultant -- Family History Centre

    .

It is as simple as that ...

    .

    I hope this helps.

    ps:

    .

    General Handbook:

    Section: 25.7.2

    Family History Centers

    .

The Stake President assigns a Stake Temple and Family History Consultant to coordinate efforts in the Family History Center. As an exception, large regional libraries are overseen by an Area Presidency.
