How to add a living spouse to current family tree?

I'm getting married and I would like to add my spouse to my family tree account but when I try to find her using her ID number it said it's not available. I read furthermore that that how they protect the privacy of living individual. So how can I add her without creating a duplicate record in FamilySearch?

    you cant.

duplication is the only option - and that is by design.

so as to protect information for living persons.
