What happened to FHL records that were digitized and now only show the old microfilm symbol?
FHL 997495, Digitized #8022027 Poland, Rzeszow, Wielopole Skrzynskie (Ropczyce) Church Records 1816-1851 were digitized by 2018, but today 3 Nov 2020 only shows the microfilm symbol? Why were the digitized records removed and were can I locate these records?

Hello @joannewilczynski1 joannewilczynski1 Ah, I see. The Church contracts with different libraries and they allow us certain access. The contracts are reviewed on schedule.
Sometimes the contract is changed. For the film 8022027 we can now view them from the Family History Library, a Family History Center in your area, or a FamilySearch affiliate Library.
Here is a link to find a Family History Center or Affiliate near you.

I hope this helps.

I am a bit confused. So are you saying, that even though only the microfilm symbol is shown on the FamilySearch.org record I can go to my local FamilyHistoryCenter, use #8022027 and I will be able to see my records? Then why isn't the camera/with key shown?

Further to what has already been proffered ...
.
And, in answer to you confusion ...
.
Regarding:
.
Kopie księg metrykalnych, 1816-1870
https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/351931?availability=Family%20History%20Library
Film number 997495 [ Items: 1-3 ] and DGS number 8022027

Kopie księg metrykalnych, 1816-1870
https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/296062?availability=Family%20History%20Library
Film number 997495 [ Item: 4 ] and DGS number 8022027
.
And ...
.
.
IF, that Film was previously available 'On-Line'; THEN, it is possible that the "Contractual" Agreement/Contract between "FamilySearch" and the Record Custodian, either, Expired and has been Renewed; or, was Changed - And, the "Image" is NO LONGER able to be viewed on "FamilySearch" - for whatever reason.
.
There are MANY reason WHY Records are NOT on-line.
.
One of the main ones being that the Record "Custodian" has WITHDRAWN the PERMISSION / AUTHORITY for such.
.
Another one being that the 'On-line' ("Commercial") PAID (ie. "Subscription") Websites pay a Fee to the Record "Custodian", for access to; and, permission/authority to display, such Records; and, 'FamilySearch' is requested to, not make such available; or, take them down.
.
But, there are a myriad of reasons.
.
Whenever the Church goes to a Record "Custodian" to request permission to "Film" the Records, the Church (ie. 'FamilySearch') enters into Contractual Agreements/Arrangements with the Record "Custodian".
.
You must understand that:
.
▬ There are COUNTLESS Records, all around the World.
.
▬ And, there are COUNTLESS Record "Custodians", all around the World.
.
▬ Naturally, of course, the Church (ie. 'FamilySearch') must enter into COUNTLESS Contractual Agreements/Arrangements with the various Record "Custodians".
.
It is a, legal; and, logistical, 'mine field' and 'nightmare'; that is, ever (ie. constantly) changing.
.
Now ...
That said ...
.
As an aside ...
.
As the "Family History Library" (FHL) of the Church, in "Temple Square" in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA is still currently TEMPORALITY "Closed" ( to the Public ) due to the "COVID-19" Pandemic ...
.
And ...
.
IF, the "Family History Centres" of the Church (or, "Affiliate" Libraries) nearest you are still TEMPORARILY "Closed" due to the "COVID-19" Pandemic; OR, the Record CANNOT be viewed/accessed a "Family History Centre" of the Church (or, "Affiliate" Library); THEN, can I humbly suggest that you consider trying the following ...
.
As such ...
.
You could try one of the FREE 'On-Line' Consultations through the "Family History Library" (FHL) of the Church in, "Temple Square", Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

If there is only a microfilm symbol, then that is supposed to mean that the records are only available at the FHL in Salt Lake City and CANNOT be viewed digitally at FHCs and Affiliate Libraries.
I see these are Greek Catholic Records. The Roman Catholic Church is well known for its (only partially enforced) rule that its records must not be published on FamilySearch. I do not know if that would extend to the Greek Catholic Church, but if it does, then perhaps a new Parish Priest or Bishop has cancelled the contract to comply with Catholic policy.
Also another point is that the film 997495 has 4 parts from 2 different sets of records. If just one part, or even just one page in one part cannot be published, then the entire digitised film with all 4 parts must be taken down from FamilySearch.

Thank you everyone for your answers. Obviously, not the answers I was hoping for. From what I understand, Poland's privacy laws restrict access to births up to 100 years and marriages and deaths up to 80 years. The records I am researching are for births: 1831-1870; marriages: 1816-1851; deaths: 1829-1842 all well within the parameters set by Poland's privacy laws. Maybe by next year a new contract will be made and these records will once again be available and the FHC centers will be open again for research. Again, thank you.
