Since records of living people can't be shared, what happens with that info on my family history account when I die?

I've been putting information on my living relatives on my account. If I die, unless someone accesses my account, no one will have access to this information. I'm concerned that although it is saved to my account, none of my relatives will have access. I'm just worried that info will sit in my account inaccessible or not visible to my relatives even after those living relatives die, when it is okay to be made public.

    .

Short Answer: Current, they REMAIN in YOUR "Private Spaces".

    .

And, as such NOT viewable/accessible to any other Users/Patrons.

[ Including: Immediate Family members ]

    .

    Now ...

    That said ...

    .

My understanding is that 'FamilySearch' is EXPLORING avenues with regard to, "Inheritance"; and/or, "Bequeathing", of the "Living" individuals/persons (and, most likely, the "Memories" of such) in the "Private Spaces", of a recently deceased Family member, to an immediate Family member.

    .

And, I also understanding is that 'FamilySearch' is EXPLORING much MORE in regard to "Living" individuals/persons in our "Private Spaces" ...

    .

Something that WILL take some time, 'make no bones about' that ...

    .

There are a myriad of "Privacy" Laws within the many various Countries and Unions throughout the World - it is a nightmare to negotiate.

    .

"Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' is used in many Countries and Unions throughout the World; and, as such, must adhere to the myriad of "Privacy" Laws throughout the World.

    .

Hence, "Privacy" is one of the reasons that we cannot "Share" the "Living" individuals/persons in our own "Private Spaces" - it is NOT the ONLY reason; but, certainly has a bearing on the matter.

    .

Another factor is that such would have to be 'Coded'/'Programmed' into the Programme that is "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

    .

    Just my thoughts.

Thanks Brett. I've been doing family search with my kids and for each kid's account we have to input their sibs and parents and other living relatives since they can't use the record# that is generated for those individuals with my account but block permissions for them to see what I've inputted until they get confirmation of death of that individual. Having each of my kids create a new record for each of these individuals results in a bunch of duplicates for the same person. My account has more of the info and pictures and documents that these individuals are linked to. My kids just have the basic details unless they add something on their own. So I do hope they get a remedy. Thanks for the links and info:)
