with the right equipment at hand - its really not that hard to do.
I have done it myself at a music library where I took a Vinyl record
played it on a record player - the audio sent to a an amplifier - then fed it to an output line - normally used for headphones but actually fed that into the mic of a small audio digital recorder.
then used "Audacity" software to edit the audio.
here was my output:
I dont know why anyone at FHL would have any of this type of experience.
most university/college music libraries have vinyl record players
True, but they generally only have student employees who run them. I am looking for someone with experience, which is why I came to the FHL
you will find much more experience at a music library then you will at the FHL
and the right equipment to convert it to digital.
note I am specifically referring to a MUSIC library
and not just a general library.
